Carol Rose Little graduated from the Joint Honours Programme in Linguistics and Russian Studies at McGill University. She began working with the Mi’gmaq language in the fall of 2011 for a field methods class at McGill University. Since then she has spent two summers (and counting!) in Listuguj working with the Mi’gmaq Research Partnership. Her interests include morphosyntax, language documentation and revitalization, and sociolinguistics. A current research topic of hers is the evidentiality marking system in Mi’gmaq. She currently resides in New York City and works for Economist Intelligence Unit. She will be starting graduate school in linguistics in the fall of 2014. When she finds spare time, she likes to knit, travel, and run.
