Carol Rose Little graduated from the Joint Honours Programme in Linguistics and Russian Studies at McGill University and is now a PhD student in linguistics at Cornell. She began working with the Mi’gmaq language in the fall of 2011 for a field methods class at McGill University. Since then she has spent three summers (and counting!) in Listuguj working with the Mi’gmaq Research Partnership. Her interests include morphosyntax and language documentation and revitalization. A current research topic of hers is the evidentiality marking system in Mi’gmaq.
