Gretchen is a second-year linguistics PhD student at McGill University. She’s interested in syntax-semantics fieldwork and typology in underdocumented languages, best practices in field linguistics, and language and technology. She’s currently working on modal indefinites (words like “any”) and preverbs in Mi’gmaq. Gretchen is from Nova Scotia.
