Mi’gmaw Language Summer Workshop 3

This year’s third annual Mi’gmaw Language Summer Workshop will take place at the Listuguj Bingo Hall on July 30th, 2015. The doors open at 9:30 where there will be a full breakfast with the choice of coffee or tea. This year we will have speakers in the morning then the participants will break out into groups. The groups will rotate around the five stations, led by community organizations. At each station, the groups will learn Mi’gmaq and perform an activity where they will get to practice dialogue and conversation.

After lunch, we are pleased to announce a special guest, Two-Eyed Seeing. Two-Eyed Seeing is an integrative science learning group that incorporates the strength of both indigenous knowledges and western knowledges teaching people the benefit of both.

Additionally, there will be a designated corner for speakers of the language to convene and converse.  Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided throughout the workshop.
